Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer for Lips in Amour

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm so glad it's the weekend, especially as it'll be an extra-extended one because of the Jubilee! What are your plans for the long weekend?

As mentioned in my May Favourites post, I picked up a sample of lipgloss by Chanel which was some sort of promotional voucher where you could get a free sample of Levres Scintillantes Glossimer for Lips from any Chanel counter (depending on stock of course). I'm not sure if it was just one shade available or a mixture but I picked up a shade called "Amour".

In the bottle it looks very much a bright barbie pink but when swatched it looks a little more natural...

It's not as bright as I expected but it's a lovely natural pink on the lips and unlike your typical lip gloss it's not overly sticky, it has a very nice gel-like texture to it and you get a lovely even finish to it.

I wouldn't say it lasts a huge amount of time, much longer than your standard lipgloss, I'd say roughly 2-3 hours max if you're not eating/drinking too much. 

I really do like this shade, it's perfect for every day wear and it is something I would purchase the full size of. I do like the look of another shade called Bagatelle which is a brighter candy pink which I'm quite tempted to try!
