A Review : L'Oreal Mythic Oil

This is one of the many products that is raved about in the beauty blogging world and regularly pops up on Buyapowa as well, I missed out on the first listing of it but when it popped up again over Easter I just couldn't resist!

L'Oreal Mythic Oil is described as a light-weight nourishing oil suitable for all hair types. This particular product contains avocado oil and grape seed oil unlike other hair oils which contain argan oil. The results that this product boasts include intense shine, blow-drying made easier and anti-frizz protection.

I have used a few different hair oils including Macadamia Natural Oils and VO5 so I was pretty keen to see how this one would compare.

Depending on your hair type you only need to use one or two pumps of the product which you warm up in the palm of your hands before applying to dry or damp hair. 

Using just one pump of product, I usually apply to my hair damp (never been keen on applying oil to my hair dry) and I start at the ends of my hair first as they are the most "damaged" and sparingly apply the rest through to my crown area (I try to avoid using the product too close to my roots as I feel it's not needed there and I don't really want to encourage any extra moisture to that area).

There is definitely a noticeable difference before I have even dried my hair, it looks silkier and combing through my hair is A LOT easier than if I don't use the product. Once my hair has dried there is less frizz than usual and it feels so soft and smooth. The ends of my hair look a lot healthier (despite the split ends...oop) and in general my hair just feels in much better condition. This is definitely something I would re-purchase and I think it's safe to say it's a holy grail hair product for me!
