Another non-OPI NOTD post...admittedly these are both polishes from my Mum's collection - I haven't tried Essie polishes before and as she has the Spring Mini Collection it was the perfect excuse to try!
I chose the lilac shade which contains beautiful subtle blue sparkles called "To Buy Or Not To Buy".
I decided to add a bit of extra glitter to it by applying a coat of China Glaze's Snow Globe on top which matches perfectly! I only used two coats of the Essie polish which applied really well and dried reasonably quickly. I know when my Mum wore this polish she had minimal chipping so I'm hoping it'll be the same for me!

I've used Essie Dive Bar before http://thoughtsinlittleboxes.com/2011/12/30/essie-dive-bar-review/ which is a lovely dark teal colour. I quite like the formula and it's quite long lasting. I found that two coats is good but three is better. The Snow Globe looks just like Lush and Luxe from China Glaze but finer. It looks really pretty xx

ReplyDeleteI collect Essie Polishes so its super hard to pick but some faves are Tarte Deco, Jazz & Lady like. This combo looks great doll:)
