This is a bit of a different NOTD post for me...a very rare non-OPI NOTD! Shocking right?!
I decided to finally purchase a Models Own polish, with the recent Hed Kandi collaboration and the Boots 3 for 2 offer it was definitely a must.
The two shades I mostly wanted were Balearic Cool and Ibiza Mix, unfortunately Ibiza Mix was sold out so I just stuck with Balearic Cool and picked up some nail art pens instead.

It's a gorgeous bright blue which is perfect for Summer! My only disappointment is that the application is very light and streaky, I applied three coats and it's still a little bit sheerer than I'd like. As the colour is so pretty I would say it's worth it!
I'm hoping to get my hands on Ibiza Mix and Hedonist from either the Models Own direct or from Boots.

What a gorgeous colour! I only own one Model's Own polish myself from the beetlejuice collection but really love it. I'm not really that sold on their range of colours though, my Boots only ever has ones that are I think very similar to Barry M shades that you can buy cheaper. I do love Ibiza Mix from the hedkandi collection though, but I've found it's sold out everywhere too!

ReplyDeleteI've never tried this range of nail varnishes, but I hear nothing but good things, so its on my list. I love this shade, and the whole range of Hed Kandi colours, great for summer holidays with a tan and a bikini x
